Advocin (danofloxacin) Antimicrobial for Beef Cattle

Advocin is an antibiotic indicated for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida in cattle. Each ml contains 180 mg danofloxacin mesylate. Advocin is given SQ at either 8 mg/kg body weight (2 ml/100 lbs) as a one time injection, or at 6 mg/kg body weight (1.5 ml/100 lbs) with this treatment repeated once approximately 48 hours following the first injection.
